Knitter’s Jig is a very experienced and professional band. We perform at numerous weddings and civil partnerships every year and recognise the importance of this special day to our customers. Whatever your requirements we will try our best to ensure both you and your guests have a really lovely day. Our caller will select dances that will fit with a variety of age groups from young children to great grandmas to ensure everyone has the opportunity to join in. We understand that weddings rarely go according to schedule and so will always try our best to adapt to your requirements on the day.
Themes
Most people prefer a mixture of dances and tunes from the various parts of the British Isles and the USA. But if you would like a particular theme for your special day, we can usually adapt the music and dances to fit with your requirements. We are often asked to play at ‘Scottish’ weddings and have developed a set of dances and tunes which have proved very popular.
